Adele is an artist from Llanelli. Whilst living on the island of Patmos, Adele learnt the process of creating icons from Sister Olympiatha from the Monastery of the Evangelisinos.

 

Working in egg tempura, Adele creates vivid and meaningful pieces that have a timeless quality which is inspired by her love for the Orthodox Church and the tradition of icon painting. Adele has recently completed a course with Adrian Hall from Shropshire and with Dom Alex from Belmont Abbey.
