Y Tŷ Celf - The Art House is pleased to announce, Gorwel - Horizon, a group exhibition which invites 2D artists to explore and express the idea of looking forward, journey and what’s out there!
Work is invited in the following mediums – painting, printing, drawing, photography, digital art within 3 categories -

Selectors are Lisa Evans, Patricia McParlin and Yvonne Boxall
Lisa Evans is Programme Director and Senior Lecturer at the Carmarthen School of Art.
Patricia Mc Parlin is an award winning British artist who lives and works in Wales. She studied at The University of Wales and The West Wales School of the Arts and is a member of The Royal Cambrian Academy.
Yvonne Boxall is an abstract landscape artist, a former art teacher and founder of All Wales People’ First charity.

3. Click the email link and send us jpeg images of your work. Photos can be taken by mobile phone if clear with no distortions. Submitted images should be no more than 1Mb in size and titled with your first and last name and numbered 1-3.jpg. e.g. JaneJones 1.jpg
Prize categories
Over 18 (non gallery member) - £100 and a free 1 month guest space in the gallery
Young person 13-18 years - £50 and a free 1 month guest space in the gallery
Gallery members - a free 1 month space in the gallery
Location - the exhibition will be held at 1 John St, Llanelli, SA15 1UH
Specific dates and timings
Deadline for submissions is January 31st 2023
Artists notified by February 10th 2023
Hand in day Monday February 20th 2023 10am - 6pm
Exhibition launch with awards Tuesday February 28th 6-8pm
Exhibition runs March 1st – 10th 2023
Collection of work on Saturday March 11th 10am - 4pm
