Contemporary Approach to Still Life

Service Description

Participants will explore nostalgia through the process of contemporary approaches to Still Life drawing and painting, looking specifically at the work of Sarah Graham, who paints hyper-realistic images of toys and sweets. The sessions will be accumulative I propose that the four sessions will be accumulative over 4 week block: accurately. Session 1 - Drawing realistically from observation. Session 2 - Using photography to create exciting compositions, and using the grid technique to copy accurately. Sessions 3 and 4 - Using gouache and coloured pencils to create a realistic painting.
