Service Description
Monoprinting is a printmaking technique where an image can only be made once, unlike other printmaking which allow for the creation of multiple originals. During the introductory session we will explore a range of mark-making techniques, using a selection of tools and materials to create shapes and patterns. Marks can be made by scratching and drawing into printmaking ink, which has been rolled onto a flat surface. We will also make hand-cut paper stencils and explore positive and negative space.
