I came back to art after many years.

After studying art in my early twenties, I became a textile designer for a short period of time. However, commitments and the need to earn a steady living led me to take other non-art related work.

I live in Llanelli and was employed within the NHS before retiring in 2013.

I describe my work as abstract with form.

Maybe I could wax lyrical and say that my work reflects the changing seasons and the thin thread that man plays in this recurring existential theme.

However, the truth is, I have an idea and proceed to give it birth. At some stage the painting takes over and stays that way for a good while, then again, I take some control towards the end.

I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy producing it.
