Are you studying Art at 6 th Form and interested in a career in the Visual Arts? Are you looking to explore different Art
mediums to expand your techniques, skills and self-confidence?
 

Y Ty Celf – The Art House in Llanelli is a community creative hub and our mission is to bring Art to the Heart of the Community. We are offering a 10-week programme to 6th Form Art students to help develop your creative skills and portfolio in preparation for your current studies and possible future Higher Education studies.
Taught by professional local artists with a wealth of experience, you will be working in a safe, relaxed non-judgemental environment, making social connections with other students whilst learning a variety of new creative skills.

 

When:

September 29th - December 8th 

 

The programme will be 10 sessions on Monday evenings, 5pm – 7pm. 

 

Content:

​A combination of practical and confidence building workshops including Setting Intentions and Themes, exploring Abstract Art, Jewellery Design & making, Paper making, introduction to Stained Glass, building your Artist Statements, exploring Printmaking techniques, Portraiture & Painting.

​

Cost:

£45.00 contribution per student towards materials.

Includes a portfolio / A5 journal, refreshments and all materials.
