‘Creating Calm at Canolfan Llwynhendy’ is a series of weekly, 2 hour inclusive art workshops. The aim of these workshops are to bring people together for an inclusive and enriching experience where they will experience social nurturing, increase their overall wellbeing as well as creativity and expression through visual arts.

 

These workshops are led by Y Tŷ Celf’s professional artists and offer a range of bespoke creative activities including printing, Pyrography, Ceramic Mosaics, jewellery making and more!

Through a mix of primarily 2D and some 3D visual arts, participants from the local Llwynhendy community will look at a range of themes and topics. Throughout the workshops we explore the relevance of health, well-being and social connection. These sessions encourage everyone, regardless of ability and experience within the creative arts and allow them to express themselves freely through colour, texture and form, whilst celebrating the warmth and creativity of the Llwynhendy community.
