Available spots
Service Description
A gentle creative session for people living with cognitive impairment Music holds our memories. A favourite song, a familiar rhythm, a voice from the past — these sounds can open doors to stories, emotions and moments we thought we’d forgotten. In this workshop, we’ll explore the soundtrack of your life: the songs that shaped you, comforted you, lifted you, or travelled with you through different chapters. Using music, conversation and simple creative activities, we’ll open up a relaxed discussion around how life has changed in recent years — including the impact of the cost‑of‑living pressures — and how creativity and connection can support wellbeing during challenging times. Participants will be invited to: Listen to familiar and uplifting music Share memories linked to songs, artists or eras Create simple visual responses inspired by sound Reflect on resilience, community and personal stories This workshop is designed for people living with cognitive impairment, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory loss, or those recovering from illness or injury. It is delivered in a friendly, non‑judgemental, non‑clinical environment where carers are warmly welcome.
